Shipping Policy

How much will shipping within the contiguous 48 states of the USA cost me?

 

Ground Shipping: Free for orders with subtotals (prior to taxes and any applicable surcharges) greater than $50. For orders with subtotals below $50, the shipping charge is just $7!

 

If item(s) in your order are classified as over-sized, additional charges (surcharge) will apply, and these items can only be shipped via Ground Shipping. Items are classified as over-sized when they are over 8’ or 96” in length. Products pages are clearly marked over-sized wherever applicable.

If you have special requirements or deadlines and want a priority, or express delivery option, please contact us so that we can get you a quote right away. We will put together a plan that will work best for your needs!

 

Note: Any returns will be refunded less our shipping costs and any applicable restocking fees. Please refer to our Returns Policy for more information.

 

Additionally, because we are also not a shipping company, and cannot control the weather (wouldn’t that be nice?), please note that the 2-Day Shipping option doesn’t always guarantee delivery within 2 days. The only close to guaranteed service is Next Day or Overnight.

 

 

Do you ship orders internationally and how does that process work?

 

Yes. We consider any shipment “international” if it is going anywhere outside of the contiguous 48 states of the USA.

 

International shipments are shipped via USPS when possible and are shipped "standard" (no 2-Day or Next-Day Air options available.) Charges for international shipments depend on a variety of factors, and as such, can be estimated after having a discussion with you. We also ship to Freight Forwarders. Please contact us to discuss further.

 

If your item exceeds 108" in combined length and girth, and/or 70 lbs, your item must be shipped via a common carrier other than USPS (UPS, FedEx). Length is the measurement of the longest dimension and girth is the distance around the thickest part (perpendicular to the length). This is a limitation of USPS and is unavoidable.

 

Please note, shipments to certain destinations are subject to international shipping surcharges (“Brokerage Fee”) from the shipping carrier. Payment of such a Brokerage Fee are the customer’s responsibility. We will not be a part of the Brokerage Fee remittance process.

 

Don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions regarding international shipping process. It is not as bad as it might seem!

 

 

 

How soon after I place my order will it ship?

 

Generally, orders are processed within 24 business hours and shipped within 48 business hours of order receipt, assuming that it is not a custom-made order and that all items are in stock. Occasionally, shipment of your order may be delayed due to an item being out-of-stock. Should this situation arise, we will notify and continue to keep you up to date.

How do you handle shipping for multiple items that are part of a single order?

 

When several items are ordered, more often than not, they are shipped in separate parcels. This is also true when you place a single order with items from multiple manufacturers. 

Although the parcels for your order are prepared simultaneously and are picked up at the warehouse at the same time, when they are processed at the carrier’s facility (UPS, FedEx, DHL) they are often split up and delivered separately.  Sometimes they arrive the same day at different times, but most of the time they arrive within a day or two of one another.

Unfortunately, this is due to the large quantity of packages processed by these carriers, and sometimes a technical issue, if for example, you order rods and other components together. The rods will ship separately from the smaller components due to the size different.

Please do not refuse delivery of an order. Please follow the procedure for returns. If delivery is refused, we will not be able to issue a refund or reship your items without additional charges.
