Want to save on oversized shipping? If your drapery pole measures 8' or over, have it cut in half and use a wood connector screw. A center bracket will hide any resulting seam and provide the strength needed to support the curtain rod. Just enter your cut sizes in the comments box when checking out.
When determining the length of curtain rod needed, allow 3" - 4" on either side of your window. This will allow your window treatment to completely cover your window for privacy.
