Returns and Cancellations:
Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Product/Quantity:
Inspect your products immediately when received. All claims for damaged, defective or incorrect products/quantities must be made withing 5 days of receipt. NO EXCEPTIONS. This is a requirement of our suppliers. Any damaged products will be replaced, at no charge, as soon as possible. We are sorry but once a product has been noted as damaged we will not be able to issue you a credit, only offer you a replacement for said damaged items. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Once a product is ordered and the order is processed, (24-hours) it may not be canceled. Custom made products are not stock items and thus cannot be resold to a second party to recover losses. Once your order has started the production process, it cannot be halted. Changes may be made to orders depending on the type of change. Materials that are already cut, but not yet fabricated into a treatment can be made smaller, but not larger. Simply, changes that can be implemented are based on the fabrication stage of the product. If the product is already fabricated but has yet to ship, it could still be cut-down in size, but a cut-down charge would apply. If a custom-made product arrives damaged, produced in a size different from what you had ordered, or is not the item type ordered due to our error, we will replace the item with the correct item as originally ordered at no cost to the customer. If the product was ordered by the customer incorrectly, wrong sizes, colors, products, etc; we will replace the original product with the correct product at a discount for the replacement item. The discount will be determined at our discretion. Unfortunately, the charges for the original product cannot be credited for customer mistakes, so please take extra care and make sure your order is placed correctly the first time.
If you look at the same color on 3 different computer monitors you will see three different colors. Continental Window Fashions reserves the right to change images on the site without notice. Some images may not represent the exact product shown. They may vary only slightly, but they can vary. If you are looking for a very specific color and not just off white, contact us about these specific needs. We are here to make this a enjoyable experience for you.
Stock items must be returned within 30-days from our initial ship date to qualify for a credit. There is a 20% restocking charge on all stock items which include drapery hardware, window film, bedding items and gift items.
Please be aware that orders that shipped to you with with free shipping will have the actual shipping costs deducted from your return refund.
Products must be returned to us directly and not the manufacturer who may have drop shipped the item to you on our behalf. Items returned to the manufacturer will not be credited because they have no idea who you are, where you bought the item, why you are returning it, etc. They place it back into inventory and we are unaware that you ever returned it. Products returned to us require a return authorization number (see below) and must be returned in resalable condition. If the item was received in a retail package, please return to us your items in that packaging with all of the parts, and in resalable condition. Once your items have been inspected we will then issue your credit. If your drapery hardware item has been custom cut or modified from its original state that item is not returnable.
Return authorization must be approved prior to returning products. Products returned without an RA number to reference will be refused and returned to the sender. Please make sure this procedure is followed. We must enforce this policy to properly control returned items, we process several hundred orders every week and it will only create confusion. In other words please call us first before you take matters into your own hands.
