Hi Dave, I'm sure you have a product for this problem. The extension rods and using a flick of my wrist have been creating a problem with the screws from the rings popping out when trying to overcome the extension transition point (currently with 2 sets of extension rods and the joint is in the middle of each panel). I would prefer a corded system, but am concerned about the weight of my curtain panels, and how many supports can be used. The dimensions are as follows:
16ft span (that includes stacking when completely open) Double french doors in center, so should be center draw (cord on right) 26 current rings (13 on each side) 6 inch projection Would prefer the "rod only" look for the master, office and fam. rooms, and the "ring look" in the dining and living rooms, but do want to minimize the number of curtain panel attach points to 26 to limit the space for stacking, but mostly prefer multiple rod supports for the weight.
I don't have an exact weight for the panels, but the window is just under 14ft wide, and 11 feet tall, and the fabric has a simple backing on the back, without blackout / internal material. I can easily remove the panels and weight them if you need that information.
I was looking at: K018-01-EUW-PS-93675 in aged gold How many bar supports are there, and what would the estimated stacking space be for 13 curtain attachments?
If this would work, and if I have 4 other similarly large windows (but this is the biggest), I wanted to know if it would be better to ship all together, any other discounts, and if I should have my interior designer order this.
Thanks for your help!
Greg.
